reflection

By doing this book project I learned that when writing papers It's not going to be perfect. when I was doing my photo essay I thought that the second one was fine, but actually it wasn't. I started to really open my eyes when writing, theres always room for improvement and that what I noticed. In my writing I had a lot of good paragraphs were I could go more into depth. In the end it turned out great.The difficult part for me was 'trying to do the book part inserting my images and writing because it was a new program and sometimes I felt like giving up but I wanted to show people that I was able to pull it off

Something that went well for me while doing this magazine project was learning how to work a new program that I wasn't familiar with.It was a little stressful because a lot of people were busy trying to get help from other people that knew how to work In Design.Some of the challenges I faced was with all of my drafts because I went home and fixed it and thought it was perfect,But It wasn't.I think that's most frustrating is looking over my paper to make it sound really good. Sometimes I think there's no room for improvement but I'm starting to realize even more that everything is not going to be perfect the first time.

The main purpose of Barak Obama's economic plan is to tax the rich to give money to the poor.Basically the core philosophy of the well fare state, but also the core principal of socialism.Democrats and republicans have a hard time realizing the roots of the new deal,which was a federal program that abandoned the economic theory of laissez faire in favor of the well fair state.America well fair state representitives gained many of their ideas from to primary sources from Benito Mussolini and Joseph Stalin. Stalin’s economic philosophy was socialism, which involved taking property from the rich in order to redistribute it to the poor as well as Barak Obama.

Internsip Immersion!

I am excited because I get the chance to be with the kids a lot more then i usually do. Also I will get the chance to explore what they do in the mornings because I come in the afternoon time and it seems like I don't have that much time to spend with them.I feel that way because the kids really enjoy me being there and if they enjoy mi it makes me want to be there even more.I'm probably concerned about a lot of the kids running up to me and asking a lot of questions at one time. It's really hard when the do that.

If I were to talk to President Barack Obama about the women that has fourteen kids. I would tell him I feel. Internship!

The first day of internship was amazing. I thought it was going to be totally different in terms of how I interact with the kids.When I first walked into the door the kids seemed to know that I was coming, some of the kids were shy but once we played a name game and they told me what they liked and I told them what I liked they started to like me even more. I felt really lucky to be with the kids because i can learn how they do things differently in terms of learning and interacting with others.I am really looking foward into

Internship Reflection!

I would like to get the opportunity into working with an adult that has a lot of experiance in different areas, getting the opportunity to work with elementary students because I enjoy working with younger children. I could learn a lot from the kids.I would like to learn how to communicate better when working with children and adults. I would love to see myself grown in this area(communication) because in the real world your going to need to know how to communicate well with your boss or your peers. Sometimes I notice when you dont communicate with your classmates or your teachers you dont get that far because of yur lack of communication.My goals for my internship this semester is for the younger kids to look at me as a role model because of the way I worked with them and the way that I carried myself, Also incase I may need a letter of recomindation for a collage I could be able to go back and talk to the administrators and they would be more than happy to do that because of my attitude and dedication. I am looking foward into working with Mr Khul's wife I am very happy with my internship and I plan on making everyone proud of me

Two projects that I am mostly proud of is my icon project,the reason for that one is because I know that I worked my hardest on it.When doing a project relating a person to yourself it seems to be the easiest thing because your talking about yourself and you know a lot about yourself. so i enjoyed it because I was expressing my feelings in a lot of ways when talking about my life. Another project that I am also proud of is my power point that I recently did because I had the opportunity to take my own photos and do some research so that was really fun.

I feel really great about the elections because we have an African American president of the United states.I think that a lot of African Americans were happy to see that day. I also feel happy because this is the first time for me understanding the presidential debates etc...I am very proud of myself through these past years. My hopes for America is to improve in the areas we need adjustments in which is a lot. Also to trust our president in his word to show America that we have a trust worth president.My concerns of America is our troops I feel that every month or day they are getting killed at a young age. I don't think it's fair because they have a life to live and enjoy being with their family like some of us do.

Prison labor is the same as slave labor in many ways. One reason prison labor and slave labor are the same is because they are get punished if they don’t work. They are similar because they both have racism involved. Another reason prison labor and slave are the same is that with prison labor do not get paid for what they do.

According to Howard Zinn, slaves were beaten if they didn’t work, “the whippings, the punishment, were work discipline.” They didn’t have a choice. When prisoners don’t work, they may be beaten or they have things taken away like phone privileges. On the other hand, if slaves didn’t work, they could be killed. In prison, if the prisoner doesn’t work, they get penalized.

They are similar because they both have racism involved. The slaves were all African American. They weren’t treated like others, such as Caucasians. In prisons today, you have to be in a gang in order to survive. They are created by race. In “The Number of Blacks in Prison” Louise D. Palmer writes, “We're incarcerating an entire generation of people. African Americans contribute about 50% of all prison inmates when they are only 13 percent of the U.S. population.”

In conclusion prison labor and slave labor are similar because they both work for different people.

Context

In my opinion I think that Barak Obama does a good job with public speaking.When Barak Obama and McCain were talking about the war and other things I could see that they were just going back in forth, saying you do this and that. Mc Cain had problems pronouncing people's and thats not good because if you want to be the president of the United States of America you need to know how to pronounce people's name so that was a big turn off.Barak Obama has a lot of confidence in him self so he makes and effort to do his best in everything.Randy I hope I did this correcly,if I didn't I'm sorry

Something that I am most proud of about my blogs is that I tried very hard in finding information and putting it in a way that I understand them. There were times when I would get frustrated with the blogs because I thought that I was unable to understand the different topics,I am very proud of myself so in future blogs I will be able to do it without having faith in myself.Blogging has impacted my understanding on the U.S because I have a better understanding on a lot of things. I've learned a lot about John Mc Cain and Barak Obama and what they plan on doing if they become the president of the United States of America. what ways can we connect our blogs? A McCain-Palin TV ad accuses Obama of being "disrespectful" of Palin, but it distorts quotes to make the case.

The McCain-Palin campaign has released a new TV ad that distorts quotes from the Obama campaign. It takes words out of context to make it sound as though the Democratic ticket is belittling Palin:

• The ad says "they said she was doing 'what she was told.' " But the Obama adviser who's being quoted didn't accuse Palin of meekly following orders. What he actually said is that she made a false claim about Obama's legislative record and added, "maybe that's what she was told."


• It says "they lashed out at Sarah Palin; dismissed her as 'good looking,' " But "they" didn't lash out at all. Obama – who is the one pictured – didn't say anything like that. The only one the McCain campaign quotes is Obama's running mate, Biden, and he actually offered the remark as a compliment. Biden said the "obvious" difference between Palin and himself is "she's good looking."
  
  
• The ad says Obama was "disrespectful" when he accused Palin of "lying" about her record. But the truth is Palin's claim to have "said no" to the "bridge to nowhere" is indeed a dubious one, as we and many have pointed out.

This article is very interesting to me because the media try's to distort what they are really trying to say.

Equal pay for Equal work

The Deceleration of Independence states that "All men are created equal, but is that really true today? I disagree because in the article that I read it was talking about how this woman was getting paid less than the other male workers, she later field a lawsuit and the told her that they couldn't do nothing about it because she waited to long. In Obama's plan he wants it to be fair so that if anyone may have a similar situation they can file a lawsuit and that it will be accepted no matter how long they take to file a lawsuit.
